Our Philosophy
You Can Recover
We emphasize and wholly support the belief that it's possible to recover from mental illness, especially if the treatment plan is grounded in an unwavering belief that someone can recover. We integrate spirituality into our recovery program because it encourages healing and leads to higher success rates.
Recovery means that people with psychiatric disabilities not only become emotionally and socially stable, but grow beyond any limits imposed by both mental illness and social barriers to achieve goals and aspirations.
Key Principles of the Recovery Model
- Recovery is enhanced by treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
- Recovery from severe psychiatric disabilities can be achieved.
- Recovery can occur even though symptoms may reoccur.
