We hope you'll be spared medical emergencies, but when one happens be assured of receiving quality care from us.
We're open 24 hours a day, seven days of the week to provide care for all. Everyone visiting our Emergency Department, regardless of ability to pay, will be given a medical examination and stabilized.
Certified to Offer Trauma Care
St. Charles (Bend) is designated as a Level II Trauma Center by the Oregon Public Health Division. Bend is the only Level II Trauma Center east of the Cascades.
St. Charles (Redmond) is a certified Level III Trauma Center. Medical staffing is provided by Central Oregon Emergency Physicians.
Pioneer Memorial Hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center and staffed through Northwest Emergency Physicians.
Our staff includes Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) nurses trained to provide physical and emotional care to victims of sexual abuse.
Each of our hospitals is affiliated with AirLink for emergency transports.
